Coco Gauff sealed her spot in the
French Open semi-finals earlier today and no doubt wasn’t expecting the run of
Lois Boisson to continue but in shock fashion, she is a set away from the last four.
Boisson who came through an open section to face Jessica Pegula after Karolina Muchova and Maria Sakkari lost out dumped out the World No.3.
But is facing
Mirra Andreeva who reached the semi-finals last year and is more of a sure fire bet to get to the latter stages perhaps than Jessica Pegula.
But like Pegula, she was bamboozled in the opening set. So much so that Boisson had set points before it eventually went to a tie-break.
Andreeva saved set points but couldn’t hold on and is now a set away from defeat unless she can find the answers.
