"Would be looking to have as many matches as possible": Emma Raducanu urged to play lower level by Andy Roddick

Andy Roddick has urged Emma Raducanu to explore playing at a lower level in order to build up and replicate match practice which she isn't currently getting due to the want to play bigger tournaments with wildcards.
Raducanu will play in the second round of Indian Wells against Dayana Yastremska on Saturday evening. But sat at home waiting for a wildcard instead of playing during the weeks after Qatar Open disappointment. She trained at the National Tennis Centre instead of getting much needed games in. The former US Open champion to another doesn't approve of this tactic saying that it doesn't replicate matches no matter how hard she tries.
"Emma Raducanu has been offered a wildcard (for Indian Wells), but potentially has a back-up plan of going to play some Challengers after that. When you’re in her position of coming back after such a long time out, you don’t want to lose in the first or second round and then have to wait two-and-a-half weeks to Miami and end up only playing two to four matches in the space of five or six weeks," said Roddick to Betway.
"You can practice all you want, but you can’t replicate match conditions and being under the gun at deuce in a set that is tied at 4-4, so I would be looking to have as many matches as possible to try and build that confidence."
