Wozniacki, Ferro complete semifinal line-up for Virtual Madrid Open

After winning all of their matches in the group stage, Caroline Wozniacki and Fiona Ferro proved their qualities also in the quarterfinals. Both players were successful in their appearances to reach the semifinals at Virtual Madrid Open.

Wozniacki faced Johanna Konta in her quarterfinal match. The Danish player showed another dominant performance when she outplayed Johanna easily 6-0.

On the other hand, the last quarterfinal match was much closer. Fiona Ferro and Donna Vekic both held their service games and so the game reached tie-break. There, it was Ferro who was performing better and won the match 7-6 to complete the line-up of semifinalists.
