Wozniacki loses only 1 game in 2020 ASB Classic premiere

After Caroline Wozniacki and Serena Williams had a successful premiere in doubles at the ASB Classic, today they both triumphed in singles as well.

Day 2 in Auckland brought another set of interesting matchups after we have seen likes of Coco Gauff play on Day 1. During the Day 2, most of the seeded players fought for their place among the last 16, including Caroline Wozniacki.
Wozniacki announced her retirement after Australian Open and so she is enjoying the last matches on the tour. In the first round at the ASB Classic, Wozniacki defeated Hourigan 6-1, 6-0 in just 54 minutes.
In the 2nd round, she will be joined by almost all of the seeded players except Peterson and Ostapenko, who withdrew from the tournament.
Day 2 at the ASB Classic was very successful also for players from the United States as they acquired 4 victories out of the 9 matches that were played in Auckland today.
