WTA Finals Day Three Schedule of Play with Pegula v Jabeur, Sakkari v Sabalenka

The third day of the WTA Finals continues with some more amazing tennis matchups as Pegula takes on Jabeur.

It's elimination time at the WTA Finals because one of Pegula or Jabeur will be out of the running for the semi-finals. Both of them play okay first-round matches but lost and now need to win to stay in contention. It's a great matchup that we saw twice this year but both times Jabeur won.

Jabeur is the player that looked better than Pegula in round one and was closer to victory but whether she wins this one remains to be seen. If she doesn't she's out of the running for the semi-finals. That match will be played at 23:00 CET.

The second match of the day is between Sabalenka and Sakkari. Both of them won their first matches and a win here would guarantee them the semi-finals. An interesting matchup that we didn't see this year but one that Sabalenka traditionally dominated.
