The 2022 WTA Finals in Forth Worth will bring feature the best taking on the best with a prize pool of $5,000,000.
The event will begin on Monday, October 31st and will run till next Monday, November 7th when the final will be played. The top 8 players according to their results in the previous months will go head to head with Iga Swiatek leading the field.
Besides her, we will see Ons Jabeur, Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Caroline Garcia, Aryna Sabalenka, Daria Kasatkina and Maria Sakkari. The overall prize pool is $5,000,000 with the winner getting $1.68 million if they go undefeated.
The prize money breakdown is a $110,000 participation fee for all players. an additional $110,000 for each round-robin win. $30,000 more for reaching the semi-final with the win in the semi-final getting you $420,000 with the win in the final getting you $820,000.
The point breakdown per match is 125 for playing the match, an additional 125 points per match if you win, 330 points if you win in the semi-final and 420 points for winning the final. If you win the event you'll get 1500 points.
