WTA Prize Money Leaders have been updated for 2026 after Roland Garros and assorted tournaments including Queen's to open the grass court season.
Donna Vekic won that and sits 42nd while Emma Raducanu sits 45th after her run to the final. A welcome boost no doubt for the Brit albeit she won't add to it as she decided not to play in Nottingham this week despite requesting and receiving a late wildcard.
In fact it has been a bit of an odd time for Nottingham and also for Berlin with Iva Jovic for instance not playing the former. While Mboko, Anisimova among others decided either through injury or lasting effects of injuries for the latter to not be involved in Berlin.

Sabalenka could retake lead, Chwalińska just outside top 10

Aryna Sabalenka feasibly could retake the lead in the Prize Money Leaders this week as she plays in Berlin. Mirra Andreeva decided like some others in the past including Sabalenka notably when she has won majors to take more time off and return towards Wimbledon.
Andreeva after winning the French Open tops the standings for the year and sits on just over $5m for this season alone. Sabalenka sits on $4.64m. While as ever with this list, it really is a true barometer of form in comparison to the rankings as like the main rankings, it sees Sabalenka joined by Elena Rybakina who is in third and has already won a Grand Slam this year.
Maja Chwalinska with her hand on her face in shock
Maja Chwalińska had one of the standout runs.
Elina Svitolina is in 4th and as ever has had a consistent season. While Coco Gauff is in 5th despite losing out to Paula Badosa in Berlin today.
Jessica Pegula sits in 6th while Marta Kostyuk, Iga Swiatek, Karolina Muchova and Belinda Bencic round out the top 10. Needing a wildcard Maja Chwalińska for Wimbledon due to her pre event ranking, she now sits just outside the top 10 in this one. Interesting what a run can do for the confidence and the earnings column.
