WTA Ranking Update | Mirra ANDREEVA to drop out of top 50 to end debut year, FERNANDEZ, `KENIN and STEPHENS all benefit from ranking slides

Despite the WTA season being completed weeks ago, the WTA Ranking Update continues to throw up changes going into the latest with Mirra Andreeva being the main player to see her WTA Ranking change.

Andreeva has fallen 11 spots and so heads towards ending her debut season outside of the top 50 in the WTA Ranking. The 16-year-old phenom currently sits in 57th place ironically on the day that she was confirmed to be in the running for Newcomer of the Year.

Of her main rivals for the award, Peyton Stearns has risen this week going up one spot and Linda Noskova is highest ranked in 41st place. Of those benefit from her fall include Stearns.

But also the likes of Alycia Parks, Sloane Stephens, Sara Sorribes Tormo and down to Danielle Collins, Camila Giorgi, Tatjana Maria and Katie Boulter who sit just ahead between spots 46-57.

Xinyu Wang further up also fell four spots from 32nd meaning that Sofia Kenin, Marie Bouzkova and Leylah Fernandez all benefitted from ranking shifts. The top of the ranking remains unchanged with players not losing points at that end of the scale this time of the year.
