WTA Rankings Update: Jabeur moves to 7, as Swiatek holds number one

Plenty of changes happened in the top 10 of the WTA Rankings this Monday with Iga Swiatek still on top but Barbora Krejcikova back at number two, Paula Badosa at three and Ons Jabeur at number 7.

Yes, Ons Jabeur had a fabulous week in Madrid winning the biggest trophy of her career. The Tunisian player played a smashing event beating Pegula in the final and she moved up quite ab it on the rankings. From number 10 to number 7 which is a new career-high. She is closely followed by Jessica Pegula who is number 11 on the rankings after also jumping up 3 spots.

Ekaterina Alexandrova reached the semifinals from the qualifiers and moved up to number 31 jumping 14 spots. Sara Sorribes Tormo moved up 10 spots to number 37. Several other players made significant jumps including Martic, Yastremska, and Haddad Maia. Players with new career-high rankings include Pegula at 11, Fernandez at 18, Samsonova at 25, Teichmann at 29, Maia at 52, Zanevska at 66, Bronzetti at 79 and Niemeier at 99.
