WTA Rankings Update: No changes in top 10 with Barty holding the No. 1

There was not much action on the WTA circuit this week but as every Monday we have new rankings with fairly little change.

The Billie Jean King Cup was played this week with many of the worlds best participating and playing for their countries. The sole WTA event was held in Charleston without a single top 10 player. Because of that, there were not any changes in the top 10.

Ashleigh Barty is ranked no. 1 closely followed by Naomi Osaka and Simona Halep. Barty and Halep are in action this week taking part in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. After a title run in Charleston Jabeur moved up to 25 which a new career-high for her.

The only other career-high in the top 100 was achieved by Rogers who is now number 45 in the world. Besides those changes, there were only minor changes in the top 100 with the two biggest jumps coming outside of the top 100. Charleston champion Sharma jumped 45 places to 120 while semifinalist Osorio Serrano jumped 18 to 117.
