The WTA Rankings have been updated post Wimbledon and with Iga Swiatek now champion, she has resurged up the WTA Rankings and now inhabits the top three once more.
Swiatek won her sixth major title and it was her first since winning the French Open last year. She had fallen down to World No.8 but defending very minimal, she moved up to World No.3 again with this title.
She is only defending 830 points for the rest of the season partially down to barely playing after her doping ban and change of coach to Wim Fissette at the end of 2024. So she is in a good position to challenge Aryna Sabalenka.
A Sabalenka who has added 780 points to surge into the 12,000 point mark for the first time. So despite losing to Amanda Anisimova, she managed to still gain on the competition albeit the main issue will in fact be the US Open to come in the next few months.
She is defending 5,025 points and so is in danger of losing her World Number One spot to Swiatek who looked at one point very unlikely to usurp her once again. Other top 10 changes include Jessica Pegula moving down to World No.4 due to Swiatek's re-rise.
While Mirra Andreeva moved up to World No.5 after reaching the Quarter-Finals. Zheng Qinwen also sat at World No.6 with Jasmine Paolini falling down to World No.9 after not defending her final run. Madison Keys and Paula Badosa round out the top ten.

Anisimova becomes top 10 star, Kartal rises as Krejcikova dramatically drops

But there is also a new player in between as Amanda Anisimova is now a top 10 player after reaching the final of Wimbledon and despite her crushing loss to Swiatek, her incredible season continues. She is now World No.7 and returns home to the US hard court swing as a big name now.
From barely having a ranking just over a year ago after taking a break due to mental health, Anisimova has been one of the major success stories as she has come back to produce her best tennis after time away. This after she emerged as a teenage prodigy but it is even better second time around for her.

Clara Tauson rose further down to make her top 20 debut at World No.9. Linda Noskova has cracked the top 25 at World No.23. While Sonay Kartal is now British No.1 usurping Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter.
She is World No.44 marginally ahead of her childhood friend. Barbora Krejcikova has dropped down an astonishing 61 spots to World No.77. She mainly only had Wimbledon points left on her rankings so dropping them to a third round loss to Emma Navarro has proved costly.
Of the next generation too, Maya Joint (#37), Victoria Mboko (#86) and Iva Jovic (#87) have all risen to new heights this week too.
