WTA stars rally together for Giving Tuesday

Numerous WTA stars took part in the Giving Tuesday movement helping out their local communities amongst others.

The Tuesday after Thanksgiving has become a day where people are giving back to their communities and over time it grew past the United States to become a global movement. This year many WTA stars took part in the effort including Madison Keys and Elina Svitolina. Madison Keys’ Kindness Wins Foundation is all about acts of kindness, alongside fellow ‘champions of kindness’ Mikaela Shiffrin and Oksana Masters.

Elina Svitolina’s eponymous foundation works to create opportunities for children worldwide through the sport of tennis. Through tennis, they learn the values of hard work, self-discipline and “the importance of giving 100 % every day in life.”

Britain’s former Fed Cup captain Judy Murray celebrated the third year of her foundation by giving a shout out to her supporters and patrons. The Foundation brings tennis into rural and disadvantaged areas in Scotland. Numerous others took part as well including Vania King, Billie Jean King including the corporation WTA as well.
