"You don't even know me": Coco Gauff claps back at troll after cooking skills questioned

Coco Gauff hit back at troll comments after she made food ahead of Thanksgiving and showed it off as part of a viral TikTok trend.

After winning the WTA Finals to end the 2024 season, Gauff is spending the little time she has at home celebrating the holidays before she heads off to start pre-season training again.

Gauff has started to arrest her serve woes in 2024 having recently started working with coach Matt Daly. She had several of her cousins over at her house to cook and one user tried to ruin the fun for Gauff. She shared photos and videos of them all on Instagram.

The trend sees different people showing what they've cooked often then throwing it into one bowl so Gauff took part. One account did not believe that Gauff made the food. They claimed the staff of the former US Open champion were responsible and she doesn't know how to cook.

But Gauff firstly said 'what staff' and also clapped back that they don't even know her as well as that what she cooked wasn't that difficult. The WTA Finals champion is known for silencing trolls and she did so again in this case as it showed that they can't get away with such comments without said player hitting back especially one like Gauff who isn't afraid to shut them down.

"My name is Coco and I'm the host and I made sweet potato pie, banana bread and bought a honey-baked ham and bud's chicken," she said on her Instagram video but one fan then decided to think different.

"Coco. You know you can't cook. Your staff made that for you......" one comment wrote.

"@lenon705 you don’t even know me. lol and what staff? all I made was pie and banana bread it’s really not that hard," Gauff responded.
