Rafael Nadal eased past Hyeon Chung on Saturday night in under two hours to move through to the fourth round and the second week at the US Open.

Nadal won through 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 against the resurgent South Korean; who is returning to form after injury struggles.
This wasn't enough though as Nadal extended his record to 3-0 against Chung in their Head to Head; he has won now all seven sets they have played.
Next up for him is a fellow former US Open champion in Marin Cilic who edged past John Isner; in what is bound to be the Spaniard's toughest test of the tournament so far.
In the other main tie of the day, Andrey Rublev moved to within one of reaching the Quarter-Finals for the second time in his career; after defeating Nick Kyrgios in straight sets.
It was a tough tie though with the Russian being taken to tie-breaks in the first two sets; before easing past him in the final one 7-6, 7-6, 6-3 in just under two hours.
The Aussie himself played well hitting 30 aces; but especially in the first set, errors cost him and gave Rublev the initiative. Otherwise it probably would have gone all the way.
Also Alexander Zverev moved through needing four instead of five sets this time around; against Aljaz Bedene. It was 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 7-6 in the end; after going 5-2 up in the first it seemed like it was going to be a more easy day for the German.
That wasn't the case with Bedene battling back to take the first set; but Zverev maintained his composure to make it one a piece claiming a clean tie-break; despite nearly being broken again in the third set he fought through to go one set away.
This was another set that was full of drama with Bedene taking it the distance; but Zverev's prowess showed on the tiebreak and he moved through. Next is Diego Schwartzman; for the reigning ATP Finals champion.
