Novak Djokovic will try to earn a place in the medal round where
Daniil Medvedev and
Alexander Zverev are hoping to join him.
The Tokyo
Olympic Games are slowly coming to an end with only a handful of matches remaining to be played. On the men's side of the draw, we have the quarterfinals which will determine who will get a chance to play for a medal. There is plenty of candidates but chief among them is Novak Djokovic.
The Serbian will take on
Kei Nishikori who always struggled against Novak but with the Games in Tokyo, anything can happen. Daniil Medvedev will take on an in-form
Pablo Carreno Busta while his compatriot Khachanov will play Humbert. Alexander Zverev will wrap up play with a match against Chardy.
On the women's side, we are already in the medal round and down to our last four Olympians standing.
Belinda Bencic will take on
Elena Rybakina in a matchup that promises to be spectacular. Both played great with Rybakina looking like the player to beat.
In the 2nd semifinal we will see
Elina Svitolina take on
Marketa Vondrousova. Neither ever went this far and both have dreams of winning a medal for their respective countries which should make play electrifying.
