With the US Open series in full swing, the draw has been released for the Citi Open Washington, an ATP 250 event slated to kick off next week.
The entry field features World No.3 Rafael Nadal as the top seed, and the Spaniard is in the same quarter as recent Los Cabos champion Cameron Norrie. The Brit is third on the ATP wins list this season with 35 match victories, and has been in incredible form over the last two weeks.
Should Nadal make it past Norrie, he could face fourth seed Grigor Dimitrov in the semifinals. However, lurking in Nadal's half is the 2019 champion Nick Kyrgios, along with the in-form Brandon Nakashima.
The other half of the draw features second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime, who could face 16th seed Frances Tiafoe in the third round and big-hitting American Reilly Opelka in the quarterfinals. Alex De Minaur, Jannik Sinner and Sebastian Korda are also potential opponents for the Canadian as he seeks to reach his third final of the season.
Some intriguing first round matchups include the resurgent Jack Sock vs Yoshihito Nishioka, Kei Nishikori taking on Sam Querrey, and defending champion Nick Kyrgios battling American Mackenzie McDonald.
