Over the years the Erste Bank Open Vienna emerged as one of the premier events in the back half of the tennis calendar. The event usually drew strong fields of players as an ATP 500 event. The 2021 edition will run from October 25th till October 31st with a strong field of players headlined by Tsitsipas and Zverev.
The 2020 event was won by Andrey Rublev who defeated Lorenzo Sonego in the final however Rublev won't play this year. Sonego on the other hand will return and try and better his finals result. Besides Tsitsipas and Zverev we will also so Casper Ruud, Matteo Berrettini, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Hubert Hurkacz, Jannik Sinner and more.
Dominic Thiem regrettably will miss the event due to his wrist injury but the Austrian will be involved in the event in some other capacity. Andy Murray will also be there after received a wild card entry as will Lorenzo Musetti. Check out the entry list below:
