The draw has been released ahead of one of the main traditional grass court warm-up tournaments ahead of Wimbledon, the
NOVENTI Open in Halle, Germany.
It will run between June 14 - June 20th with
Roger Federer as usual taking in the tournament as a 10x champion after his return to form at Roland Garros.
Heading into Wimbledon, he withdrew from the latter stages of the French Open to focus on the grass but with a quality field, an 11th title could be out of reach.
This includes
Daniil Medvedev, the top seed who will take on Jan-Lennard Struff in the tie of the opening round.
Alexander Zverev fresh off his run to the semi-finals at Roland Garros will transition to grass with a tie against Dominik Koepfer to start. While
Stefanos Tsitsipas has taken a wildcard for the tournament and like Federer will face a qualifier.
Other ties include Sebastian Korda facing Roberto Bautista Agut and an all Russian clash between Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev.
