Tennis is coming to the very south of California with the San Diego Open that will be held for the first time in 2021. The event is an ATP 250 event and it will run in the last week of September carrying over into October. Andrey Rublev is the top seed and he will lead a very packed field.
Players such as Denis Shapovalov, Casper Ruud and Hubert Hurkacz will all attend this event hoping to capture that title. Besides them, we will see other notable players including Schwartzman, Auger-Aliassime, Dimitrov, Garin and more.
Andy Murray, Brandon Nakashima and Kei Nishikori are the wildcards announced for this next ATP 250 tournament.
The event will come after the Laver Cup which will be held in Boston this year and it will serve as a prep event for the Indian Wells Masters which will run in the middle of October. Check out the full entry list below.
