2021 Tokyo Olympic Games ATP & WTA Day 1 Schedule of Play with Djokovic, Osaka and Medvedev

The Olympic Games in Tokyo start on Saturday with day one and we will see many great matches including Novak Djokovic, Naomi Osaka and Daniil Medvedev.

The Olympic Games in Tokyo will feature several notable matches on day one and some of the stars on the court include Djokovic, Osaka and Medvedev. Play will start at 04:00 Central European Time and 11:00 local time. Naomi Osaka will get us underway as the Japanese player takes on Zheng. Several other matches start at that time as well including Swiatek vs Barthel.

A bit later we will see Badosa take on Mladenovic while Sakkari will play Kontaveit. Medvedev will also play on day one and he will take Alexander Bublik whom he played at the Roland Garros and easily defeated. Another Russian will play on day one as well as Karatsev takes on Paul.

Novak Djokovic will close out the programme on the Men's side for day one against Hugo Dellien. The match will start at 08:30 CET. On the WTA side, an interesting match will start at 07:00 CET with Bencic taking on Pegula. The programme will be closed out by native Doi taking on Zarazua.
