2021 US Open Day 7 ATP & WTA Schedule of Play with Medvedev, Muguruza, Kerber & Halep

Day 7 at the US Open will bring us several great matches despite lacking some of the star power that we are usually used to at this stage of the event. Nonetheless, it will be headlined by Medvedev and Halep who both have aspirations to win. It will start at 17:00 CET with Schwartzman taking on Van de Zandschulp. After that, we will see Daniil Medvedev take on Dan Evans.

A bit after that Carlos Alcaraz will take on Peter Gojowczyk which will be a huge opportunity for Alcaraz after his sensational win over Tsitispas. The final ATP match will take place at 01:00 CET and it will be Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Frances Tiafoe.

On the WTA side of the event, we will start at 18:00 CET on Ashe as Simona Halep takes on Elina Svitolina. After that, we will see Angelique Kerber take on Leylah Fernandez which should be a very interesting affair between lefties. Aryna Sabalenka will play Elise Mertens with the final match of the day being Krejcikova against Muguruza.
