2022 Astana Open Draw including Alcaraz-Rune, Djokovic-Garin, Medvedev and Tsitsipas

The 2022 Astana featured a superb field with number one in the world Alcaraz attending as well as Djokovic, Medvedev and Tsitsipas.

The event was held last year but it was only a 250 category which makes this lineup a dramatic improvement. It comes after the event was bumped up to an ATP 500 with increased prize money. All the best will flock to the Kazakhstani capital and Carlos Alcaraz leads the field. The Spaniard got a tough draw as he will face Holger Rune in round one.

The Spaniard might face Stan Wawrinka in the second round as the Swiss player takes on Mannarino in round one. The second seed is Daniil Medvedev and he faces Alber Ramos in round one. Djokovic received a wild card into the event and he will face Cristian Garin in round one. If he wins, it might be Botic van de Zandschulp in round two.

Stefanos Tsitsipas will face Mikhail Kukushkin in round one and if he wins it's going to most likely be Marin Cilic for him in round two. Other notable players are Rublev who plays a qualifier. Hurkacz takes on Cerundolo with Sinner playing Otte.
