The ATP will announce the much-awaited main draw for the Hamburg European Open later today.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 24-30 in Hamburg, Germany where a number of top players will take part.
The tournament will feature the likes of world number seven Russia’s Andrey Rublev, world number four Norway’s Casper Ruud, defending champion Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti and Germany’s Alexander Zverev.
Rublev has been in more than decent form as he is participating in the Swedish Open's semifinal against Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo.
On the other hand, Rudd has booked his place in the final of the Swedish Open after defeating Musetti in the semifinal with a score of 6-3, 7-5.
The winner of the competition will take home a handsome amount of €342,500 whereas the runner-up will earn nearly half of that sum €184,285.
Musetti will be defending his crown in the competition which he won last year after beating the current world number Carlos Alcaraz in the final with a score of 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-4.
Switzerland’s former world number one Roger Federer remains the most successful player in the history of the competition, having won it four times.
