2023 Hopman Cup Entry List including Alcaraz, Badosa leading Spanish charge

The Hopman Cup will make a return this year but it won't be played in Australia but France with Nice playing host to some excellent tennis players like Alcaraz and Badosa who will lead Spain.
The event is one of the best-known ones among tennis fans because of its specific format and a pretty long tradition at the start of the year in Australia. Lately, it hasn't been like that but the Hopman Cup makes a return this year after a 4-year absence. some pretty big names signed up for the event with Spain being led by Carlos Alcaraz and Paula Badosa.
Both are top players for Spain so this is a major get for the event. France will also take part and it will be Richard Gasquet and Alize Cornet with Belinda Bencic and Leandro Riedi playing for Switzerland.
It will run from July 19th till July 23rd in Nice. Three more nations are set to be announced until then.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
