The ATP Tour will make a stop in Geneva, Switzerland for the 2024 Gonet
Geneva Open this summer. The event is scheduled to run from May 19-25, and features some of the tour's most exciting clay court specialists.
An ATP 250 event, the Geneva Open is hosted at the Tennis Club de Genève at the Parc des Eaux-Vives, the oldest and largest tennis club in Switzerland. The tournament has seen four Swiss players emerge victorious, with three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka lifting the trophy on back-to-back occasions in 2016 and 2017.
Jarry to defend title, former titlist Ruud in the mix
Norwegian
Casper Ruud won the event on two consecutive occasions, emerging victorious in 2021 and 2022. The former World No.2 will look to keep his impressive form on clay as he heads into
Roland Garros. Chilean
Nicolas Jarry will hope to retain the title he won at last year's edition, and he will be joined by the American trio of
Taylor Fritz,
Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul. Andy Murray will also find his way back into contention at the Geneva Open. He hasn't been seen since an ankle ligament injury back at the 2024 Miami Open earlier this season. He will ramp up clay court preparation to play his first Roland Garros in a number of years. With the Olympic Games in mind, Murray will say his farewell to clay court action. Below is the full list of entrants.
