The first tournament of the Adria Tour series starts on 13th June in Belgrade and the players already know their opponents.
Novak Djokovic's Adria Tour promises to be a great event. World number 1 will be joined by players like Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev or Grigor Dimitrov for a series of tournaments. On the opening day of the event, fans could enjoy the program for children and a great musical program. Then Jelena Jankovic joined Novak Djokovic in the exhibition mixed doubles match against Olga Danilovic and Nenad Zimonjic. And the day ended with a draw of the competition.

The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
