Nick Kyrgios is currently in Australia as he prepares for the grass-court swing in Europe skipping over the clay season per usual.
The Australian tennis player has become a polarizing figure in the world of tennis ever since he burst onto the scene as a youngster. Since then no player has created more headlines than him but regrettably quite a few of those were because of his antics rather than his tennis.
His tennis is actually very good and also entertaining to watch. His game has been so fascinating to watch that even noted tennis analysts have praised him for his talent. Boris Becker famous said that Nick Kyrgios should win at least one Wimbledon in his career.
Now
Toni Nadal became the latest respected figure to praise Kyrgios. Speaking about Nick he said:
"Nick is a star on the ATP Tour. A showman. After the 'Big 3', he is one of the greatest tennis stars in the world, being the most followed player by the younger generations."
The comments from Toni were spoken when he confirmed the Australian will take part in the Mallorca Championships that will be played in June. It will be the first ATP edition and Kyrgios is quite the get. That the surface is grass probably helped as well.
