The Next Gen ATP Finals will be held this year and we have our first participants as Alcaraz, Auger-Aliassime, Korda and Sinner officially qualify for the event.
The Next Gen ATP Finals have been around for a few years and it's an event with a distinct format that brings all the best young tennis talents to one place in order to see who is best. Both the Next Gen Finals and the ATP Finals will be held in Italy this year and it will give tennis fans in that country a proper delight. Both will be in close proximities with the venues being in Turin and Milan which is another bonus.
Out of the 8 players that will take part in the event, four are already known. They are Carlos Alcaraz, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Sebastian Korda and Jannik Sinner. All of the collected enough points so far to officially qualify for the event albeit some might elect not to take part. Auger-Aliassime and Sinner are still in contention for the ATP Finals as well and if they book a spot they will choose to attend those instead.
The race for the four remaining spots is still underway with many more events left to be played. It remains to be seen who will join them. The current four that are in line to join them according to the rankings right now are Jenson Brooksby who is 5th, Lorenzo Musetti who is 6th, Juan Manuel Cerundolo who is 7th and Brandon Nakashima who is 8th.
