Carlos Alcaraz has praised the achievements of the big three as he was inspired by the things
Roger Federer,
Rafael Nadal and
Novak Djokovic were able to do on a court.
The Spaniard was able to achieve some things already that they never did as he became the youngest number one ever. It's unlikely he reaches some of their other records but he's certainly inspired by what they were able to do. Speaking about them, Alcaraz noted what stood out with each player:
“Rafa is someone I’ve always watched. I admire him a lot. But Federer, the class he had, the way he got people to see tennis: That was beautiful. Watching Federer is like looking at a work of art. It’s elegance, he did everything magnificently. I became enchanted by him.”
He added:
“What Rafa, Roger, and Djokovic have done is almost impossible. I think when you’ve won your first Grand Slam you realise how complicated that is.”
