Alex de Minaur will reportedly end his Asics apparel sponsorship after 11 years and being a major face of the brand. He will now switch it seems towards Wilson who continue to make a big splash in the tennis world.
De Minaur and Asics posted two photos on social media, one of him as a youngster and one present day and said goodbye to the Aussie ace who racquet asid was always in head-to-toe Asics throughout his career and during his run towards the top of the sport.
"Eleven years by your side. Grateful for every step, every memory. Proud to have supported you in your journey to the top," the post read.
Tennis journalist, Jessica Schiffer of Hard Court then reported that he will move to Wilson saying that they have done a tremendous job on the women's kits and now it is time to cook something off on the men's side for him.

Wilson continue tennis push

Wilson has been making a big splash when it comes to WTA stars in particular with Marta Kostyuk in particular the first athlete to be signed head to toe with them and was alongside De Minaur at a Wilson event earlier this year at the US Open.
Given her stylish nature anyway, it has drawn new eyes onto the brand and the fits that she has for each major tournament. While also rising Canadian Victoria Mboko as well as Peyton Stearns have also been involved in the brand and their head to toe line.
They launched their first lifestyle tennis apparel in 2021 and has continued to make moves in that space since then. De Minaur is currently World No.7 ahead of the United Cup and Australian Open. In 2024, he reached World No.6 and also the Quarter-Finals of the last Australian Open which is his joint best result across all Grand Slams.
His next tournament is the United Cup when Australia face Norway albeit they tend to wear unless they are Swiatek or have specific deals the kit of their country so likely the first look at his new Wilson kit won't be for a bit. He has a Wilson racquet anyway so has been associated to the brand for a while.
