Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Adrian Mannarino in the 2nd round of the
US Open taking another lengthy toilet break prompting Murray for another shot.
Andy Murray was very upset after his Stefanos Tsitsipas defeat at the US Open taking exception to a very lengthy toilet break that the Greek employed before. Murray accused Tsitsipas of cheating during the match and said he lost respect for him during his post-match press conference.
Last night Tsitsipas took another lengthy toilet break to change his clothes and it came after Adrian Mannarino won a close 3rd set in the tiebreak. This last about 7 minutes and Mannarino was not happy about protesting to the umpire. Upon match resumption, Tsitsipas rolled Mannarino 6-0 in the final set as the Frenchman injured his knee in the set as well.
Tsitsipas was naturally asked about the break numerous times during the press conference and he was reluctant to speak on the matter but he did fire a counter shot at Andy Murray asking reporters how long his toilet break was against Novak in the US Open final they played.
Reporters told Stefanos it was only 3 minutes long to which Stefanos replied "Okay." He did argue that he doesn't see why 3 more minutes makes a huge difference but all of that prompted Murray to take another shot at Tsitsipas which you can see below.
