Andy Murray will not be playing at Roland Garros. He was still feeling some discomfort after his matches in Rome so he has returned home to focus on the grass season.

Andy Murray made his clay season debut at the Rome Masters partnering Liam Broady in the doubles. Murray was not initially planning to take part but rather travelled to Rome to practice with the best in the world. He managed to get in a few practice with Schwartzman and world number one Djokovic.
An opportunity presented itself for him to enter the doubles draw which he took. Partnering Liam Broady, they won a match before losing in the 2nd round. It was a welcome sight in the tennis world but once again Murray endured a setback.
Late on Saturday evening, the news broke that Murray pulled out of the Roland Garros after experiencing discomfort during his doubles matches. It's another setback for Murray who has been working tirelessly to come back to the top of competitive tennis.
With his injury history and surgeries, clay tennis is not ideal for Murray and his stay in Rome proved as much causing him discomfort which forced him to abandon his plans of playing in the Roland Garros. He has returned home to prepare for the grass season turning down a WC for the Geneva Open next week.
We wish Murray a quick recovery and hope to see him thrive on the grass courts of his native United Kingdom later in the summer.
