Annacone believes Alcaraz is 'most complete 19-year-old men's player" in high praise after Indian Wells win

Noted tennis coach Paul Annacone believes that Carlos Alcaraz is the most complete 19-year-old men's player ever praising him after the Indian Wells performance.

Everybody by now knows that Alcaraz is a superb player. He's 14-1 this year with two big trophies already and it's not very hard to see that he'll be special for a long time. Some injury concerns remain but he seems destined to win quite a few grand slam trophies in the future. Annacone gave his thoughts on Alcaraz as a player saying:

“I think he’s a lot more like Roger (Federer) than Rafa (Nadal). Because Rafa couldn’t take the ball early like this when he was 19, and Rafa couldn’t come forward like this. Roger could always stay on the baseline and always look like he had time, and that’s how this kid looks.”

He called him the most complete 19-year old kid ever:

“The interesting thing for me is watching someone who is this athletically talented with his running, jumping, explosiveness and flexibility, but also has the hand-eye coordination to be able to take the ball early on the rise, come forward and volley. He also can back up and change pace. He can do everything."
