The semifinals day at the Antwerp European Open is due to take place on Saturday with two very good matchups.
The Antwerp European Open continues on Saturday with a strong schedule of play feature two great semifinals matchups. The first match is scheduled to start at 15:30 and it will be Evans vs Humbert. The two players have played good tennis all week long and getting into the semifinals was not easy. Evans had to save a match point to be here and he might feel the effects of that match today. Humbert has been playing well all week and he is the favourite heading into tomorrow. They never played against each other so the element of surprise will be on both sides. Whatever happens, it will be a great start to a great day of tennis.
The 2nd semifinal will be between De Minaur and Dimitrov. Dimitrov found himself in the semifinal without playing a single point as Milos Raonic withdrew from the event due to an injury. It's a shame because it would have been a great match but Dimitrov now faces a soaring De Minaur. The Australian almost went out against Gasquet in the first round but since then he has been on fire. Tomorrow will be his toughest match yet but he is ready. It's the first match between those two so it's either game. Dimitrov will be more rested but that might prove detrimental as he is out of rhythm as well.
15:30 Evans D. (Gbr) - Humbert U. (Fra)
17:30 De Minaur A. (Aus) - Dimitrov G. (Bul)
