The draw has been confirmed for the next ATP 250 on offer during the week of February 5-11 in the form of Open 13 Provence Marseille which initially included Australian Open champion, Jannik Sinner. But a fiasco surrounding the announcement made by the tournament caused more headlines.
Sinner is out and they couldn't get Alexander Zverev either who was mooted to be queried surrounding his availability. Hubert Hurkacz as a result enters as top seed and defending champion. He faces Benjamin Bonzi or new Kazakh, Alexander Shevchenko. Other top seeds include Grigor Dimitrov, he could face Sebastian Korda.
Third seed Karen Khachanov could face Bautista Agut or Gasquet. While Andy Murray who famously according to the tournament director means more to a tournament than World No.11, Alex de Minaur will face Czech ace, Tomas Machac and if he manages to get through that, Fabian Marozsan or Lorenzo Musetti await. Also involved are Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Ugo Humbert among others.
