ATP RANKING Update: Ben SHELTON into new career high as Matteo BERRETTINI rises from the ashes

The ATP Ranking has been updated heading into the Monte-Carlo Masters after a multitude of tournaments over the last week in Houston, Marrakech and Estoril with Ben Shelton leading the changes.

Shelton had never won a title on clay before this week. However he lifted his second ATP title in Houston on Sunday. He prevailed over Frances Tiafoe to win the ATP 250 and after it looked before like Tommy Paul would become US No.1, it is now Shelton who takes that mantle.

Fritz is only marginally ahead of Shelton now and has already lost in Monte-Carlo giving scope for that change to happen in the next few tournaments. It is also a career high of 14th for Shelton. Others to reach their best include Mariano Navone, Luciano Darderi and Fabian Marozsan up to 51st, 64th and 37th respectively.

Matteo Berrettini winning in Marrakech for his first title since 2022 returns to the World's top 100 immediately in his first success since injury woes. He is into 84th. Gael Monfils is back into the top 40 as he continues his resurgence.

While after winning Estoril, Hubert Hurkacz moves into his career high again of 8th as Casper Ruud slides down two to 10th. Frances Tiafoe falls to 23rd after failing to defend his Houston title. While Miomir Kecmanovic drops 16 spots to 66th.
