ATP RANKING Update: Casper RUUD strengthens after Barcelona triumph as Novak Djokovic begins week 422 as World No.1

Casper Ruud has finally won a title outside of ATP 250 level with the Norwegian crowned champion at the Barcelona Open. He defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final and both feature heavy in our ATP Ranking Update.
Ruud didn’t move in the latest ATP Ranking and sits in sixth alongside Tsitsipas but both strengthened their previously perilous positions inside the ATP top ten. Novak Djokovic begins week 422 as World No.1 but with him skipping Madrid, he may not be for much longer.
Taylor Fritz is back again as American Number One after reaching the final of Munich. One that heralded Jan-Lennard Struff as champion. The German moves up to 24th after his title. Marton Fucsovics rose 29 spots after winning Bucharest to 53rd, while Mariano Navone continues to star. He sits in 41st which is up 11 spots.
