The Battle of the Brits is set to begin on Tuesday afternoon as tennis in the UK is set to restart with the exhibition tournament organised by Jamie Murray which sees some of Britain's best face off.

Murray himself will begin proceedings on Tuesday in the first of two doubles ties on Tuesday. He will team with Neal Skupski in the Paul Hutchins group.
For the elder Murray, he has the added caveat that unlike most doubles pairings, he will be with his regular partner and this rings true in this opener as they face off against the makeshift team of Liam Broady and Cam Norrie.
The former team have reached the US Open semi-finals together previously as well as the Cincinnati Masters so won't only be the favourites for the match but the doubles as a whole.
Kyle Edmund is on the rise again and will kick off the singles against James Ward. After previously being World Number 14, he is just inside the top 50 winning in New York earlier this year before Coronavirus curtailed his return to form. His opponent holds the advantage on Head to Head albeit seven years ago.
From a former British Number One to the current British Number One, Dan Evans will face Jay Clarke hoping to continue where he left off before lockdown.
After a tumultuous period which saw him banned from the sport, Evans has returned to some of his previous form and reaching the semi-finals in Dubai showed that. For the Birmingham ace, he will hope to sail through but Clarke will hope to offer some resistance against the tournament favourite.

Murray set for return against Broady and Inglot begins campaign

Following that, it is the turn of Andy Murray in the penultimate match. A story which captured the hearts of tennis fans, his comeback was nothing short of remarkable after nearly leaving the sport with a teary press conference last January in Australia.
He went on to win in Antwerp and now is on course for another comeback after bruising his pelvic bone. Coronavirus curtailed his plan to return with Miami earmarked but ahead of what will be a demanding schedule, the Battle of the Brits will be a good opportunity for every player; Murray included to see what they're made of.
His first tie is against Liam Broady who has admitted himself it is a free hit, so could he pull off a shock win to begin?
Finally doubles specialist Dom Inglot and rising star Jack Draper begin their campaigns. For the former, he has Jay Clarke with him while for the latter, it is Kyle Edmund with both in singles action prior to this.
