Becker wants Kyrgios' return to feature same attitude he had in breakout 2022: "It's great for tennis"

Nick Kyrgios had a breakout season in 2022 reaching the Wimbledon final among other things and Boris Becker wants to see him return to that this year.

Kyrgios has been out since the start of the year due to a knee surgery and he's yet to return to competition since then. He was supposed to play in Paris at Roland Garros but he sustained a cut on his foot which needs to heal fully before he can make a comeback. It should happen at the start of the grass season, his favourite part of the season.

Last year's grass season was amazing with Kyrgios reaching the Wimbledon final and Becker wants to see him return with the attitude he last year and be great again:

"On the other side, I like Nick Kyrgios and what he brings to the competition. So I want him back healthy and I want him back in with the same attitude that he had last year. Because it’s great for tennis.”
