Borna Coric deletes social media, likely due to abuse following Vukic loss at Canadian Open

Croatia’s tennis star Borna Coric has deleted his account from the social media platform Instagram.

The 26-year-old has recently lost in the Omnium Banque Nationale Canadian Open opening round fixture against Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic in straight sets with a score of 6-2, 6-3.

It is anticipated that the move is likely to avoid any backlash after that defeat.

The world number 15 has yet to win a major title in his career despite turning pro 10 years back.
