Carlos Alcaraz and
Rafael Nadal will debut tomorrow Saturday July 27 at the
Olympic Games in Paris 2024 as a doubles pair representing Spain. The latter did not train yesterday due to discomfort and the alarm bells went off.
However, today they have trained together at the Roland Garros facilities and the Spaniard has written on 'X' the following to dispel any doubts about whether or not they will play: "We are ready."
The 'Nadalcaraz' will make their debut tomorrow Saturday, July 27 at 19:00 CEST against the Argentines Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni on Philippe Chatrier. Both have won there, Rafa 14 times and Carlitos once, this year.
Regarding Rafa's physical condition, we will see if he is able to play the first round of singles against Fucsovics on Sunday. Alcaraz will play before the doubles match, the same day, against the Lebanese Hady Habib, which should not cause him too many difficulties.
