For the third time this year,
Carlos Alcaraz bested
Dusan Lajovic on a tennis court and it's been another impressive performance that involved yet another bagel 6-0 6-4.
Yes, the first set was a bagel for Alcaraz as she dominated Lajovic from the baseline hitting the ball really well. It's not even a surprise when it happens anymore so we won't talk about it too much. It was just an utter thrashing by the Spaniard who had six winners in the set. Lajovic opted for an aggressive approach but it didn't matter much as he had 9 unforced errors and that was too much.
The second set was quite a bit more competitive as Alcaraz toned it down a bit and Lajovic generally played better. The Serbian was able to control his service games quite a bit and win games except one which was enough for Alcaraz to take an early lead. He served for the set but lost the break at the worst possible time.
Alcaraz would then finish it up in the tiebreak. Some minor complications late but he still got it done in two sets.
