Stefanos Tsitsipas caught a lot of criticism lately for what many perceived to be comments against feminism but he's remaining positive saying he doesn't mind criticism.
Tsitsipas has always portrayed himself as a deep thinker who is interested in a range of topics and doesn't shy away from a debate. He certainly created one when he retweeted something that was largely perceived as an anti-feminist sentiment on which he doubled down. It got worse when it became apparent that his response was plagiarised, like many of his previous tweets.
He spoke about it to RedBull.com when he said that criticism is important and he likes receiving it:
“Criticism is important - I like receiving it. When I was younger, I was very sensitive to it, but as I’ve got older I think it’s essential. It’s the only way you can achieve perfection. I mean, perfection doesn’t really exist, but you can get close."
He continued:
“That also comes with your attitude to what you do. If you do it with love and care, if you wake up every morning and do the best things to succeed in what you do, with people who are chasing that same dream, anything is possible. With your mind, you can achieve everything you want in life. That’s where it all starts. It all starts with an idea.”
