Daniil Medvedev's wife jokes that he is very demanding and daughter Alisa takes after him in personality trait

Russia’s tennis star Daniil Medvedev’s wife recently opened up about their relationship and family dynamics while interacting on the social media.

Daria, in a video on her official account on the social media platform Instagram, stated how demanding the current world number three is off the field.

"He is very involved and very demanding," she said. "He’s very demanding. We have something new coming out very soon. And he already knows what. And he’s asking all the time. So, he really wants to have it first. And to work with us, of course.”

Daria, who used to be a tennis player before getting married to Medvedev, in a post on Instagram, stated that she does not play the sport professionally but plays with her husband and daughter.

"No [I don’t play tennis], not anymore. But I’m playing tennis with Daniil and Alisa. It’s more fun," she said. "It’s tough. She has a lot of character. And it’s fun to see also how Daniil co-operates with his own character. So, yeah… very, very fun. It's an interesting feeling for sure, but the happiest one.”

Medvedev had an impressive start to his 2024 season where he finished as the runner-up at the Australian Open as he lost in the final in a five-set thriller to Italy’s Jannik Sinner with a score of 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.
