Rafael Nadal has returned to action in style with his title defence at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome beginning with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over his compatriot, Pablo Carreno-Busta.

Nadal hasn't played for over 6 months with the Spaniard deciding against playing any events during the US swing to focus on Roland Garros - a tournament in which he is a 12 time champion.
In this victory, it lasted only one hour and 10 minutes and he will now face Milos Raonic or Dusan Lajovic in the Last 16. Stats wise, his winning percentages stood at 79% on 1st serve and 89% on second serve.
He claimed 5/9 of break points; only affording his opponent one opportunity. The King of Clay is very much back!
