US Open wildcard but he admitted on Twitter that for obvious reasons, watching tennis makes him feel sick.
But that he put that aside to watch
Carlos Alcaraz -
Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon which he called beautiful before sending his congratulations to the pair on such a great match.
"What a nice ending! I don't watch much tennis because it makes me sick but this match is beautiful!
Congratulations to both and thank you! Greetings friends, it was nice to connect and feel you close," Juan Martin Del Potro tweeted.
"What a nice ending! Congratulations champion Carlos Alcaraz! What a tremendous game you played. See you soon friends," Del Potro tweeted separately.
Albeit this after, Del Potro had previously criticised Alcaraz for having cramp at Roland Garros. "Alcaraz had cramps after played two sets with Djokovic and he's 20; at 20 I won the final of the US Open against Federer."
"I've never had a problem beating the best: my problem was treating wrist.
If it hurts to hit my backhand with the top, ok, I play with the slice, I don't use my hand. My toughest opponent was my body. I wasn't afraid to play against the best."
