Djokovic drop in ATP Race as Jannik Sinner maintains top spot going into Indian Wells

As Ugo Humbert and Sebastian Baez increased their ATP Race to Turin chances this past week, Novak Djokovic went on the slide in other developments.

Jannik Sinner was not in action, but the fact he already has 2,500 points remaining undefeated all season means that he leads by a mile ahead of Daniil Medvedev. The latter lost in the semi-final, but he still added to his points tally.

Alex de Minaur won Acapulco and he is now up to third place ahead of Alexander Zverev. Sebastian Baez continues his ascent after back-to-back titles sitting in fifth. He is just ahead of Ugo Humbert in sixth.

Novak Djokovic on the other hand dipped to 7th, he hasn't played since the Australian Open and will likely still qualify if he wins a Grand Slam. Holger Rune and Carlos Alcaraz similarly are further down owing to poor starts to the season.
