After a difficult first-round draw, Novak Djokovic added a comfortable victory in the 2nd round of the Australian Open.

In the first round of 2020 Australian Open, Novak Djokovic defeated Jan-Lennard Struff in 4 sets. In the second round, the Serbian faced world no. 146, Tatsuma Ito and it was not expected for the former world no.1 to experience any major difficulties.
And Djokovic did not struggle this time. He dominated the match when he started it with the first set victory 6-1. He slowed down a bit in the second, which he has won 6-4, but went full pace in the third again winning it 6-2.
After the victory over Struff, Djokovic was happy with his serving. He hit 14 aces in the match against Struff and he said: "I pray to have serving days like I had today all the time. It’s not possible." However, it was possible against Ito again. Djokovic hit 16 aces during the match and so he keeps serving very well in Australia.
In the next round, Djokovic will meet Yoshihito Nishioka who earlier defeated Dan Evans 3-0. Other winners on day 3 in Melbourne include Sam Querrey who defeated Ricards Berankis 3-1. Also, Argentinians Diego Schwartzman and Guido Pella booked their 3rd round places.
