After Borna Coric outplayed Grigor Dimitrov, and Danilo Petrovic stunned Alexander Zverev, world number 1, Novak Djokovic faced Pedja Krstin on courts in Zadar. The more-experienced Serbian didn't reach the final at the Adria Tour in Belgrade, and so he wants to change this in Zadar.
After being already 1-3 down in the first set, Djokovic showed why he's currently the best player in the world. The Serbian faced 3 set balls but didn't allow his opponent to win the first set. It reached the tie-break where Djokovic triumphed 7-3.
In the second set, it was a one-man show. After Krstin took the first game of the set, Djokovic didn't allow him to win any more games and won the match 4-3(3), 4-1 to get the first point in Group A.
