Novak Djokovic is preparing for a tricky clash against
Daniil Medvedev in Adelaide and he's willing to whatever it takes to win the match.
It's the first big match for Djokovic in 2023 as he faced Daniil Medvedev who nearly defeated him at the ATP Finals some two months ago. They played several close battles with Medvedev winning the most significant one at the US Open a couple of years ago. It was a final and one that denied Djokovic the calendar grand slam.
He's ready for another mouth-watering clash against him as he explained after the quarter-final win over Shapovalov:

$1065/€1,000/£880! "When you play Daniil, you have to be prepared to go the distance. Physically, mentally, game-wise, he has definitely been one of the best players in the world in the last five years. He has established himself as a Grand Slam winner, and he's a former No. 1 in the world. So, someone that I respect a lot. We had some amazing battles over the years. We're hoping for another good battle tomorrow."
The final is at the stake and Djokovic knows that it's really anybodies game. He's ready for it:
"I know what it takes to play against him and win. Of course it can be anybody's game. I think we are both playing well. I saw him playing few matches this week. He's striking the ball very, very well. He's as consistent as he always is."
